Reception - Peach and Plum 2019 - 2020
Friday 3rd April 2020
We hope you are having lots of fun at home with your family. We are missing seeing your smiley faces but it is lovely to see the photographs that your parents have sent in so far. If you want share your lovely work with us then send some photographs to Mr Bell at firstname.lastname@example.org to get them on to the Facebook page.
We have added a phonics pack to this page (see the files section). This lists lots of fun phonics games that you can play at home so you can keep using and applying those important phonics skills over the Easter holidays. We won't be setting any more work until after the Easter holiday is over, but keep up with your daily reading and have a go at some of the phonics games. We have allocated lots of new books for you to read on Bug Club, take a look! Click here
Stay safe and well. Keep looking after each other.

In Plum class the Teachers are Mrs Armstrong (Monday and Tuesday) and Mrs Olson (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). Mrs Harrison is currently covering for Mrs Olson. Mrs Bloor and Miss Pool are our Teaching assistants. We have a giraffe called Geraldine as our class helper, who will come home at the weekends with the children.
In Peach class the Teachers are Mr Jones with Mrs Rodger as the Teaching Assistant. We have Gertie bear that will come home with the children at the weekend.
Mrs Moss and Mrs Hamlett also work with us regularly in reception.
Reception is very much a team environment and children are encouraged to move freely between the two classes during child-initiated play time. During their time in Reception, we endeavour to ensure that the children foster a lifelong love of learning, and develop their confidence and independence throughout all areas of learning. Most importantly, we like to have fun!
PE is Friday morning for both classes, please ensure your child has a PE kit in school at all times and that all earings are removed for PE.
