Below is a basic overview of what these transition visits look like.
On Wednesday 21st June, you and your child are invited to attend a walk round evening at our school, where you will be able to explore our fabulous reception classrooms and meet the reception team. You will shortly receive an email with this information on, and we encourage you to book a place for one of the sessions.
On Thursday 29th June there will be a parent's meeting. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your child's teacher, and find out a little bit more about what to expect as your child starts school in September.
In July your child will be invited to attend 2 stay and play sessions which will support them in beginning to build those important relationships with the staff in school, and become familiar with their new surroundings. You will receive an email in June with the dates and times that your child is to attend.
