Snowy weather, by Mrs Wilson
Date: 1st Feb 2019 @ 5:10pm
Thank you to all the parents and carers for their support in the change in routine at home time during the cold weather. If we have any more snow, could you please ensure your child brings a pair of wellies or other suitable outdoor footwear plus a change of socks or tights. Thank you.
Christian Values Day PERSERVERANCE, by Mrs Wilson
Date: 15th Jan 2019 @ 4:52pm
We had a wonderful day on Friday learning about the meaning of perserverance. We had to persevere and try to build a tower of bricks using only tweezers (really tricky!), we tried hard to thread beads on a string using only one hand (this was really tricky too!) and aim quoits to land on a cone (this was the trickiest of all!)
Art Day, by Mrs Swift
Date: 29th Jun 2018 @ 3:17pm
Pear Class really enjoyed Art Day which was inspired by the work of Hundertwasser. We were asked to create a piece that represented something from our school. Year one chose the guinea pigs. We also decorated butterflies in the same style as Hundertwasser's paintings.
Butterfly release, by Mrs Swift
Date: 28th Jun 2018 @ 3:12pm
We were amazed this morning to find five fully emerged Painted Lady Butterflies. We released them this afternoon in our Sensory Garden. As most of the children predicted the butterflies flew west towards the pond area.
Butterflies, by Mrs Swift
Date: 27th Jun 2018 @ 2:19pm
We were very excited this morning in Year One. We came in to find that three of our five butterflies had emerged. We will be releasing them in a day or two but for now we are enjoying watching them.
Mini Beast Models, by Mrs Swift
Date: 22nd Jun 2018 @ 1:32pm
Pear Class showed their creative side when they made models of mini beasts. They really enjoyed working with the clay and then painting them.
