Paralympic Wheelchair Basketball Player Anna Jackson to visit Wharton C of E Primary

We’re very excited to be welcoming Paralympic Wheelchair Basketball Player Anna Jackson to the school on Tuesday, 23 January. Anna's international career has seen Anna represent Great Britain at both World Championship and Paralympic level in an illustrious career with 70 Caps helping the team win bronze at the European Championships and World Cup.

Anna will be leading a sponsored fitness circuit with all pupils, and will follow-up with a talk and question and answer session. The aim of the event is to inspire the pupils to take up sport generally, but just as importantly to encourage them to discover and then pursue their passion in life.
