Zoo animals, by Miss Caldwell

Date: 4th Jul 2019 @ 12:53pm

Today in Plum class we have been innovating our story maps of Billy's bucket. The children worked hard as a team to change aspects of the story to start to create our own version of Billy's bucket. They changed the animals from under the water animals to zoo animals. They have created a fantastic story map together. As the children were really enthusiastic about the zoo animals , Miss Caldwell showed them the live Edinburgh zoo cameras. The children have been watching the tigers and the penguins throughout the day. We are looking forward to watching the feeding time at Dublin Zoo on their cameras at 2:30pm.

Something strange is going on , by Mr Ellis

Date: 7th Jun 2018 @ 8:54am

Wow what a brilliant couple of days we have been having in Plum class the children have come back eager to learn lots and are excited about our new classroom.
Today we arrived to find baked beans all over one of our cupboards....Who could it have been? What has happened? We are not sure at all. After our discovery the children have become detectives and we are looking for clues as to what may have happened in our classroom - watch this space!

We have also planted some beans of our own today to see what happens. The children are taking this very seriously and have been seen to sing to their bean, read to them and check on them very regularly. I think Plum class has some very well loved beans. P.S there is a rumour that they might be magic!
