School Council

The School Council at Wharton C E Primary School consists of a team of dedicated and well-organised children. The members of the council take their roles very seriously. 

We would normally meet every half term to discuss any issues that are brought to the attention of the School Councillors from class members. Children vote for children in their class from a range of nominees, they vote for a boy/girl. The school council is led by Mrs Moss. 

Some of the things that we discuss for the year are:

• Whom the school fundraise and support locally,
• Fundraising ideas for school funds,
• School Treats,
• Behaviour goals,
• Equipment that the pupils would like to purchase.

Our aim is that all children in school have their voice heard by holding regular council meetings.
