School Lunch
Our school lunch menu runs on a 2 week basis, this week's menu is listed below.
For children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, the meal is provided free of charge.
For children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, the cost of a meal is £2.65 per day (£13.25 per week) payable each Monday.
Did you know that you can also pay for School Lunches and School Trips on-line through the School Cash Office. Contact the office for further information.
Also available every day:
Salad, Seasonal Vegetables, Bread and Juice or Milk.
Quorn is available upon request.
Your child's dinner money for the week MUST be handed in on MONDAY morning (or first day of the school week if school is closed on Monday) to their class teacher or to the school office if you prefer.
It must be sealed in an envelope with their name and class clearly shown.
All cheques must be made payable to Wharton Primary School.
Even if your child is not stopping for dinners all week, their money must still be sent in on Monday morning for the days they will be having meals that week. Dinner money cannot be accepted by class teachers on any other day.
FREE SCHOOL MEALS
If you think you may qualify for free school meals, the process to claim is very easy. All you need to do is phone Cheshire West and Chester Council's Children's Services on 0300 123 7039. They will then check if you qualify using your National Insurance number.
If your child is entitled to Free School Meals, the Children's Services department will inform the school.
